Remote Vehicle Immobiliser (RVI) with Polestar Connect
If the car is stolen, an immobiliser can be activated remotely.
If the car is stolen, the owner can contact Polestar Assistance or the authorities.
Note
This also applies if the car was opened and stolen with the associated key.
After having been in contact with the authorities, Polestar Assistance deactivates the keys in order to prevent the car from being started. A deactivated car can only be restarted by contacting Polestar Assistance and verification of the PIN code. Polestar Assistance then activates the car.
