Polestar Track Toy blends modern technical elements and classic Le Mans styling to create a compelling, unique Hot Wheels car that celebrates contrast.

Polestar Track Toy blends modern technical elements and classic Le Mans styling to create a compelling, unique Hot Wheels car that celebrates contrast.

Inspired by the Le Mans race cars of the ‘70s, this design is presented, as its name suggests, as a “Polestar Track Toy”; a Hot Wheels for the circuit-day enthusiasts of tomorrow, not an out and out race car.

The exaggerated design details of Hot Wheels cars have been embraced by designer Roman Moor, shown in the contrast between the calm and enveloping front half of the car, and the exposed, brutal rear.  There is also a unique interplay of calm and curvaceous forms, crisply defined sheer surfaces, and apertures that show off the car's thin skin. With new interpretations of Polestar light graphics, playful details like the front and rear red towing eyes, and the mono-seat interior featuring a steering wheel with hub-screen, this Polestar Track Toy design truly delivers on details.
