Bold colour application, references to past legends, and futuristic technical flourishes come together in the Cyber Shaker, a truly dynamic design.
Cyber Shaker takes its name and inspiration from the iconic Bone Shaker Hot Wheels design. This time, it’s reimagined with a more advanced and electrified “cyber” face and minimal form language, as befitting a Polestar.
Designer Powei Chen makes strong use of colour. Chrome silver with a whitish tint represents a mix of cyberpunk mask and the Bone Shaker. Blue-sky chrome speaks of clean energy (and the Polestar LA Concept edition roadster). An energetic orange for the rear “battery boost system” was clearly inspired by rocket propulsion systems. Classic sport-car proportions, even larger rear wheels than the large front wheels, and a prominent “Polestar” rear spoiler make this is a very dynamic design; one that judges could easily see speeding along Hot Wheels tracks.
