Clarifications with Klarén: transparency and traceability

Business sustainability covers a wide array of topics, from carbon emissions to inclusion and circularity. To make them work together, we must first recognise the importance of one crucial enabler. One without which all other measures would be inadequate.

Enter transparency. Focusing on transparency is powerful as it ensures our insight is accurate.  It can tackle corruption and smoke and mirrors tactics used by companies, governments and organizations around the world. It can also enable consumers to compare and make conscious decisions.

That’s why we’re determined to build better transparency into our supply chain and business as a whole, allowing us to more accurately chart progress and identify opportunity. By publishing the life cycle assessment (LCA) of Polestar 2 and targeting blockchain traceability and CO2e tracking, we’re making serious strides in the right direction.

Polestar Head of Sustainability Fredrika Klarén clarifies it all above.
