The driver awareness suite of safety systems makes the BST edition 230 even more aware of its surroundings. It detects cars lurking in blind spots, incoming traffic while reversing, and possible collisions from behind. If needed, the car takes preventive action with steering assistance or brake support.
No more switching between low and high beam. The intelligent Pixel LED headlights automatically adapt to the surrounding traffic and light, providing maximum visibility while shading out oncoming traffic to prevent blinding other road users.
Adaptive Cruise Control monitors the velocity and distance of vehicles in front of the BST edition 230, automatically adjusting its speed to the pace of traffic. Touching the accelerator or brake pedal gives control back to the driver.
Complementing Adaptive Cruise Control, Pilot Assist helps the driver to stay centred in the driving lane. The system detects if the car moves too close to the lane markings, intervening with small steering adjustments when needed.
