Polestar assistance reaches you via our helpline or at your location when there’s a problem with your car. If the problem can’t be solved there, we’ll arrange transport of the vehicle to an authorised dealer and help you and your passengers with temporary transport and hotel accommodation, if either of these are required.

In the cabin of your Polestar, you’ll find a CONNECT button for guaranteed 24/7 breakdown help and an SOS button for emergencies. By putting your primary sources of help right where you need them, you get the assistance you need.

  • CONNECT for breakdowns

    In the unfortunate event of a breakdown, you can use the dedicated CONNECT button in the ceiling. It provides our assistance team with your exact location and connects you to an agent who can start the process of helping you. Alternatively, you can call  Polestar support and follow the instructions or use the Polestar App. 

  • SOS for emergencies

    The ceiling SOS button in your Polestar should be used in the case of emergencies such as a traffic accident. If the accident is serious, your Polestar will perform an automatic emergency call.  

Polestar assistance is included with every new car and, in most markets, the coverage duration lasts for 3 years. An extension for Polestar Assistance can be purchased after this period expires.
