Charging in the car's centre display

From the centre display it is possible to set state of charge (SoC), unlock the charging cable and set amperage.

Set the charge limit

  2. PS-Icon circle 2Swipe to set the required state of charge. Charge limit – Swipe to set the limit for the state of charge at which charging must stop. The set value remains the same until it is changed again in the centre display.

 Important

Follow the recommendations regarding handling the high voltage battery in order to optimise its service life and performance.

Schedule charging

When charging with alternating current, it is possible to schedule charging and set start and stop times for when charging should take place. The schedule is then repeated automatically at the same time every day.

Select ChargingSet timer in the centre display and then activate the schedule at Schedule. Use the controls to set the required start and stop times for charging.

Deactivate the charging schedule using the controls at Schedule charging.

Unlocking the charging cable

Press PS2- 2007- Charging unlock cable CSD in the centre display to unlock the charging cable and cancel the current charging.

Setting the amperage

When charging with alternating current1, there is the option to set amperage. Press + to increase the amperage or - to reduce the amperage2.

 Note

The amperage may be limited by the charging station or charging cable. There is no guarantee that the car can be charged with the specified amperage if it is higher than permitted by the charging station or charging cable.
  1. 1 Refers to charging via a charging station (mode 3) and charging via a wall socket (mode 2).
  2. 2 The set amperage applies per phase from the AC source.
