Use the climate menu in your Polestar 2 to turn on parking climate and keep it running while you are away from the driver seat. A simple press of the pause/play button also keeps the car active when stepping out of the car. This cannot be activated if the car is in active mode. Parking climate can be turned on for 30 minutes at a time. Please note that the max defroster cannot run at the same time as parking climate. You can also set climate timers or activate the climate settings from the Polestar app before arriving to the car. This allows the car to do a majority of the defrosting remotely with less physical preparation work.
No, Polestar 2 does not have a keep climate/camp mode. However, parking climate can be set for 30 minutes at a time. Climate schedules can also be set to run throughout the night in intervals while camping inside the car.
If you order a Polestar 2 Long range Dual motor and opt for the Performance pack, the Performance app does not come pre-installed. However, it can be downloaded for free via the Google Play store, and it takes only minutes to set up. You can also utlise the Performance app if you purchase the Performance software upgrade on a Long range Dual motor without the Performance pack.
Yes, the Polestar app is standard on all Polestar 2 cars. Only the Digital Key functionality is moved from being a standard function to being included in the Plus pack. The Polestar App and Digital key are two different functions and should be seen as separate features.

Just like any other device that operates with its own an app store, it is down to each supplier to create an app for the system. Please also keep in mind that apps developed for in-car use function very differently compared to apps developed for mobile devices.
